Erin Piacenti Obituary, Death – Bank of America Vice President Fatally Stabbed in Times Square Attack

Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old Bank of America executive from Chester, New Jersey, has died after being fatally stabbed in an unprovoked attack in New York City’s Times Square.

Piacenti was reportedly attacked Monday afternoon near the busy intersection of 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue during a violent rampage that also left an elderly man injured.

According to police, the incident began when a woman armed with kitchen knives attacked a 68-year-old man after he exited the subway near West 41st Street. The suspect then moved toward 42nd Street, where she encountered Piacenti and fatally stabbed her in the abdomen.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch described the attack as unprovoked and said Piacenti was among the victims of the violent incident.

The suspect, identified as Pamela Cisneros, was subsequently confronted by police officers. Authorities said she charged toward officers and was shot and killed at the scene.
